Our Products:

In the five years since we started some products have come and gone and some have become old faithfuls!
But we are always experimenting with flavours, chillies and the year's harvest!
All of our products are free from artificial additives or colourings. They do not contain animal fats or dairy ingredients. We make our jellies by the traditional method of jelly bag with no additional pectin or setting agents

Our regulars - these are the products we normally have available all year round

It's lovely to have a product become very popular and this has been the case with the Watermelon Rind Pickle above. However this recipe was originally designed to use up a waste product (the rind). In this case production meant that the flesh became a waste product which was definitely not acceptable. So this product was created and has now become popular in it's own right. It is a peppery, fruity soft set "jam" which accompanies cheese and pate very well Gluten free

I grow Vampire Chillies in my polytunnel. These are a beautiful chilli with purple black foliage and long fang shaped purple chillies which eventually become bright red. Upon tasting them I was struck by their fruity plum type flavour. So I experimented with Victoria Plums from the orchard and eventually developed this chilli jelly. As always the heat plays second fiddle to the flavour coming in slowly and gently after the taste of the plums. It is wonderful with chicken or duck, try melting and spooning some over pork chops. Customers have sent me photos of vegetable wraps with sour cream and Vampire chilli jelly and one even enjoys hers with haggis!

A couple of years ago a friend wanted damsons picked from a tree as they kept dropping on his car. As always jam was not the first thing to spring to mind! The result was this spiced jelly which is amazing with game meats but also works incredibly well with goat's cheese Gluten free

The latest product to the range - new in 2016 - is made from the harvest of summer and autumn raspberries we grow. It is combined with Peruvian lemon chillies to produce a savoury sauce which during our customer feedback sessions had people hiding it from other family members! Try it with chicken or for a quick and easy appetiser place a block of cream cheese on a plate, pour over some raspberry sauce and serve with crackers! Gluten free.............................................................................................................................................................................
